Welcome to Chilterns Learning for Pleasure
Chilterns Learning for Pleasure is a not-for profit, voluntary organisation established in 2025 by a group of people who had all previously enjoyed attending adult education classes offered in West Hertfordshire under the auspices of the WEA, a national body that for various reasons had now ceased to offer a local programme of “face-to-face” classes.
We aim to provide opportunities to learn about a variety of topics in a stimulating and friendly environment, with courses mainly in Autumn and Spring term and one for early Summer. Our first season of classes was very successful, resulting in the organisation being set on a sound footing for continuing and developing our activities.
